A Thrift Store with a Purpose

We’re a thrift store with a purpose: to meet the needs of individuals in the Randolph County community. We do this by offering incredible merchandise—that changes daily—at affordable prices.

Our thrift store items are here to help families get back on their feet. You’ll find a little bit of everything in our store from clothing to basic household items and more. And if you don’t find what you’re looking for, don’t worry! Just talk to our staff and we’ll see what we can do for you.

At the CUOC Thrift Store, shopping is always a treat! Located now at the newly renovated 930 S. Fayetteville St. center, we’re proud to carry high-quality items that the community needs. You can even enjoy a delicious Hershey, hand-dipped ice cream on your way out! We have 16 amazing flavors to choose from.

We’ve been told we’re the best thrift store in the county! Come see for yourself today.

Donations for the Thrift Store

To arrange for large item pickup or if you need to drop off a large donation, please call 336-625-1500  ext. 222 and follow the prompts to leave your contact information. Please be aware that pickups are scheduled in advance and we may not be able to accommodate your need if you have not called in advance. Our drivers are part-time and they work hours that have been previously scheduled. We will work with you as much as possible to get your items in a timely manner.

What is a good donation?

Good donations are items that are clean, new or gently used. Donations should not have to be repaired to be worn or used. Donated items should not have pet, smoke or mildew odors or stains. If you would not want it in your home or on your body, others probably would not either!

Please note, we are unable to accept the following items:

Appliances that have to be installed, such as dishwashers and stoves that are “built in”
Any upholstered item that has pet stains, tobacco or pet odors or evidence of insects or rodents
Furniture that needs to be repaired to be used
Tube Televisions
Broken items and toys with missing parts
Dirty, damaged or stained clothing and shoes
Partially used consumable items, such as shampoo, cleaning products, and hygiene items

If you are unsure about your donation, please call 336-625-1500 ext. 301 before you bring them.

DO NOT leave donations outside after hours or during inclimate weather to avoid damage and theft.
