Virtual Pancake Event: Help the Kiwanis Club Help CUOC!
The Kiwanis Club of Asheboro has had to cancel the 2020 Pancake Day due to COVID-19, but are holding a virtual event YOU can participate in! Join us during the week of October 18 through 24 in voting for your favorite participating non-profit organization in our community. All week long, you can post your photos on Facebook and Instagram of your celebration of Pancake Day. In order for your photo to count as a vote, you MUST use the hashtag #morethanflippinpancakes AND #kiwanisasheboro, as well as the hashtag for the participating non-profit you want your vote to count towards, CUOC hashtag is #cuocrandolph. It is important to include all 3 hashtags so that your vote will be counted!
The participating non-profits help children and are organizations that Kiwanis of Asheboro has given proceeds of past Pancake Day Events. On October 25, Kiwanis will tally up the posts to see which organization recieved the most post under their hashtags. The organization with the most posts will recieve $2,500, second will revieve $1,500, and third will recieve $1,000. The remaining participating non-profits will each recieve $300.
